Big Meadow Auction Services' consignment auctions provide an opportunity to sell individual assets alongside consignments from other sellers while benefiting from the marketing, bidder participation, and competitive environment of a larger auction.

1. Tell Us What You're Selling
Contact our team with information about the assets you'd like to consign. We'll review your items, discuss the upcoming auction schedule, and determine whether they are a good fit for one of our consignment sales.
2. Consign Your Items Once your consignment is accepted, we'll provide the auction details, consignment terms, important dates, and instructions for getting your assets ready for the sale. Depending on the auction, items may be delivered to a central sale location or offered directly from your property.
3. Cataloguing & Photography Our team photographs, describes, and catalogs your consignment for the auction. Accurate information and quality photographs help buyers understand what they're bidding on and allow us to professionally present your assets to the marketplace.
4. Marketing the Auction
Your items benefit from being marketed as part of a larger auction. We promote our consignment sales through our website, bidder network, social media, online advertising, industry contacts, signage, and targeted campaigns. By combining consignments from multiple sellers, we can build a larger auction that attracts attention from a broader group of potential buyers.
5. Competitive Bidding
Once the auction opens, registered bidders compete for the assets being offered. Our online auction platform allows buyers to participate from across Alberta and beyond, creating greater exposure than many sellers could achieve by marketing an individual item themselves.
