1. Consultation & Site Visit

• Every auction starts with a conversation. We'll meet with you to review the assets you're considering selling, discuss your goals and timeline, and determine the auction format that best fits your situation.

2. Auction Planning

• Once you decide to move forward, we'll develop a plan for your sale. This includes selecting auction dates, determining whether a live, online, or combination auction is the best fit, and establishing a schedule for cataloguing, advertising, and sale preparation.

3. Cataloguing & Photography

• Our team professionally photographs, describes, and catalogs your equipment and assets. We take the time to provide bidders with the information they need to bid confidently, while presenting your assets effectively to the marketplace.

4. Marketing Your Auction

• A successful auction starts well before bidding opens. We market your sale through a combination of online advertising, social media, our bidder network, industry contacts, signage, and other targeted advertising based on the assets being sold.
• Our goal is simple: get your auction in front of the right buyers.

5. Auction Time

• When the auction opens, we manage the bidding process from start to finish. Our online auction platform allows bidders to participate from wherever they are, helping expose your assets to buyers beyond your local area.

6. Payment & Pickup

• Following the auction, Big Meadow handles invoicing and payment collection from successful bidders. We coordinate an organized pickup process to help ensure assets are removed safely and efficiently while minimizing disruption to you and your property.

7. Settlement

• Once the auction is complete and payments have been processed, we provide you with a detailed settlement outlining the results of your sale and issue your proceeds in accordance with your auction agreement.
